AMS 4928 titanium bar ,its' composition similar to gr5 titanium (UNS R56400), it is titanium alloy bar (Ti6Al4V).This material have been used typically for parts requiering moderate strength with a maximum service temperature in the 750 to 900 ℉(399-510°) arrange depending on time at temperature where the product is used to be used in the annealed condition ,but usage is not limited to such applications.

AMS 4928 titanium bar is similar to Gr5 titanium bar, and we will also call it 6al4v.This is the most widely used titanium alloy. Usually we use titanium alloy refers to it, which has good strength and elongation. Gr5 titanium alloy also has excellent corrosion resistance, small density, high specific strength and good toughness and weldability and a series of advantages. 

GR5 titanium bar /rod and sheet/ plate is mainly used for aircraft engine compressor parts, followed by rocket, missile and high-speed aircraft structural parts.
